Great expectations

Great disappointments only come after great expectations. In life, some things only come after some other things. A good but perhaps challenging way to prevent somethings is by avoiding what leads to them. Disappointments only come after expectations and they are usually commensurate to one another. A scientist would say they are directly proportional to each other. perhaps when we expect less from life, we can save ourselves from hurt by reducing our disappointments.
